Hayley Mills
Hayley Mills is the daughter of actor Sir John Mills and playwright Mary Hayley Bell and also the younger sister of actress Juliet Mills.
Hayley began her acting career at the age of 12 when she was discovered by J. Lee Thompson to play the lead role in Tiger Bay. She starred in several Disney films: Pollyanna; The Parent Trap; In Search of the Castaways; Summer Magic; The Moon-Spinners and That Dam Cat. In addition to her Disney movies, she took the lead in several other films, notably Whistle Down the Wind, The Truth About Spring, and The Chalk Garden.
During the late 1960’s she began performing in theatrical plays, and in more mature film roles. In 1981 she starred in the UK TV mini-series The Flame Trees of Thika and then in America she made several appearances on The Love Boat. In 2007, Hayley began appearing (alongside her sister Juliet) in the ITV Series Wild At Heart.
