Pollyanna Pickering is one of Europe’s foremost wildlife artists whose work hangs in collections around the world.
Pollyanna’s work is familiar to many people and can be found on cards, calendars, giftware and fine art prints to benefit many charities. She has undertaken a long-term project to study and record endangered species in their natural habitats and regularly travels to remote regions to paint the native wildlife.
Pollyanna founded a registered hospital for injured birds of prey and has also reared and cared for young squirrels, foxes and hares. This close contact with animals enables her to study them in great detail, and her love for them is reflected in the realism and vitality of her work.
'Thank you very much for your kind invitation to become a Patron of Naturewatch and Naturewatch Foundation. I am very honoured to be asked and have always been pleased to support the excellent campaigning work done by Naturewatch.' Pollyanna Pickering
