A Badgers’ Tale
LIMITED OFFER –only £5.99! (RRP £6.99) Includes P&P
As part of our longstanding campaign to end badger baiting, Naturewatch Foundation sponsored the publication of a wildlife crime novel, ‘A Badger’s Tale’.
The purpose of the book is to celebrate the badger, question what happens to it at the hands of humans and encourage support and understanding among younger people.
The author, Geoff Francis, weaves a mystical and challenging tale about a rejected young boy who finds sanctuary and purpose with a clan of badgers – only to find it threatened by a gang of hunters. It’s a suspenseful and absorbing story that will have teenagers engrossed.
There’s also an informative section about how badgers live – it’s fascinating and educational for teenagers who want to find out more about these beautiful, but persecuted animals.
