Donate a Dinner
Donate a Dinner is a simple, thoughtful way to support rescue animals in your community. By giving just one meal, you can help ensure animals in local rescues and rehoming centres are cared for with the kindness they deserve.
Supporting animals when it matters most
Animal rescue centres provide a lifeline for thousands of animals every year. As the cost of caring for them continues to rise and more animals arrive needing help, even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference.
A donated dinner doesn’t just feed a hungry animal, but also supports the dedicated teams working every day to keep animals safe, healthy and one step closer to finding a loving home.
Working together for greater impact
Since launching, Donate a Dinner has helped provide meals for animals at Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Vale Wildlife Hospital and now Teckels Animal Sanctuaries.
Donate a Dinner: How you can get involved
Whether you’re an individual, a family, a workplace, a school or a community group, taking part in Donate a Dinner is easy. Every donation, fundraiser and act of kindness helps local rescue centres continue their vital work caring for animals in need.
- Drop a packet or tin of pet food into your local rescue centre’s collection box or a food bank collection point.
- Take a donation of food, treats, bedding or other essential supplies directly to your local rescue centre.
- Purchase much-needed items from a rescue centre’s Amazon Wishlist.
- Donate the cost of a meal through your chosen rescue centre’s website.
- Organise a pet food collection at your workplace, school or community group.
- Encourage a local pet shop or veterinary practice to host a collection point.
