Charity volunteering

If you’d like to get hands-on with our work, you can contact us to express your interest in volunteering. While we don’t currently have any ongoing volunteer roles, we will be in touch when a specific project arises.

Past volunteers have contributed in many ways, including:

  • Research and writing
  • Video production and animation
  • Illustration and graphic design

Whether you’re experienced in your field or looking to gain new skills, we’d love to hear from you! Please email your CV and any examples of your work to info@naturewatch.org, telling us a bit about yourself and how you’d like to help.

Current volunteers projects

  • Our eye-catching cotton shopping bag was designed by our fantastic volunteer, Jack Crossley, and is now sold in our online shop, raising crucial funds to support our work.
  • One of our volunteers, Alex, has helped write blogs related to our campaigns, including one about ending the greyhound-breeding loophole in Ireland.
  • A stunning stamp was designed by a skilled voluntary illustrator, Emma Jayne Designs,  to celebrate the 100th anniversary of World Animal Day.
  • Our ‘Poet in Residence’, Lis Mcdermott, created a beautiful poem to mark 100 years of World Animal Day and celebrate the theme, ‘Save Animals, Save the Planet’

Not the right project for you?

Even if we don’t have a current volunteer role that matches your skills, there are other ways you can make a difference for animals:

  • Sign and share our petitions.
  • Contact companies about their animal testing policies.
  • Support our campaigns on social media.
  • Write to your local representatives to raise awareness of animal welfare issues.
  • Host or attend fundraising events to support our work.
  • Shop ethically using our Compassionate Shopping Guide to make cruelty-free choices.

Every action counts, and your support helps us create a kinder world for animals.
