We’re lucky to have a number of high-profile celebrity patrons supporting our work, such as Chris Packham, Rula Lenska, Paul Goodenough and Dan Richardson, to name a few! They support our cause and help us to promote our work to a wider audience.

Paul Goodenough
Paul is also the founder of Rewriting Earth, a global storytelling project uniting 300 activists, celebrities, scientists, comedians, and more across the planet to create stories that raise money and awareness to save multiple species from extinction. They’ve helped save over 625 species, reached over 1/2 billion people, and generated over 1.3 million signatures to enact global and national policy changes.
Paul is a notable collaborator, co-writing and producing stories with creators including Taika Waititi, Cara Delevingne, Adam McKay, Idris Elba, Richard Curtis, The McCartneys, the Beckhams, Ricky Gervais, and many more.
He’s also a best-selling author in his own right, with credits including The Sunday Times Book of the Year: The Most Important Comic Book On Earth, Sherlock Holmes, 2000AD, Doctor Who, and How To Train Your Dragon, alongside a host of writing for international comedians.
Paul is also the designer and founding member of BAFTA Albert (calculator and sustainability accreditation used by Netflix, NBC Universal, Warner Bros, BBC, IMG and Sky, and an ambassador for Sea Shepherd and World Land Trust.
Paul Goodenough says – “My credo is: ‘May life treat you as you treat animals’, it’s not just what I believe, it’s who I am. So to be a part of Naturewatch Foundation and to fight for animal welfare arm-in-arm is an incredible honour, and one I will take incredibly seriously (even when I’m doing comedy!)”
Chris Packham CBE
Chris Packham has presented many nature programmes for major television networks including ‘The Really Wild Show’ and is a household name throughout the UK.
Not only a keen wildlife photographer, winning several awards for his pioneering, artistic approach. Chris Packham has also judged a number of photographic competitions and has authored several books about the environment and wildlife, all of which include his own photographs. Chris Packham has also been employed as an environment/wildlife expert and has acted as an ornithological tour guide.
Chris Packham says –“Thank you for your very kind invitation to join Naturewatch as a patron. I would of course consider this a great honour and would be only too pleased to do so. As you will imagine, I broadly agree with the majority of your initiatives, and specifically and sympathetically agree with a great many”.
Dan Richardson
A film and TV actor, writer and producer, Dan Richardson is also a patron of the Born Free Foundation and the Voice for Asian Elephants Society, as well as an ambassador for the Remembering Wildlife series and the Angels for the Innocent Foundation.
Dan Richardson regularly hosts and speaks at public events, demonstrations and marches and has campaigned against such atrocities as the annual dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan and the dog and cat meat trade. He also represented The Vegan Society on camera and in public for their ‘Plate Up for the Planet’ initiative.
Dan Richardson says – “My lifelong love of animals is a fundamental part of who I am. I cannot and will not stand by while they suffer. As custodians of the planet, we have a responsibility to live and make choices from a foundation of love and compassion.”
Rula Lenska
A TV and film legend, Rula Lenska has been a constant presence for decades. As well as acting Rula Lenska has read hundreds of audio books and worked on many documentaries and commentaries.
For the last 40 years Rula Lenska has worked with Born Free, EIA, David Shepard Wildlife Foundation, Animals Asia, and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Rula Lenska also supports the charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Rula Lenska says – “I’m thrilled to have been asked to be a Patron of Naturewatch Foundation. We all have a duty to preserve our planet and the delicate balance of nature. Sadly, man and his greed don’t seem to have the forethought to realise that all things are connected. The animals have as much right to this world as we do.”
Wendy Turner Webster
Wendy Turner Webster begain her career as a news reporter for Live TV and her passion for animal welfare made her the clear choice to host Channel 4’s ‘Absolutely Animals’, a forerunner of ‘Pet Rescue’, which she hosted for seven years.
Wendy Turner Webster has taken part in a documentary about domestic violence, which led to her involvement with the domestic violence charity ‘Refuge’. Wendy is also a published children’s author as well as writing the ‘The Absolutely Animal Free Cook Book’.
Wendy Turner Webster says – “Naturewatch Foundation tackles all the issues that I care so passionately about. I’m looking forward to helping them raise awareness of the devastating cruelty that humans are prepared to inflict upon our fellow creatures. Join us on this journey… working together we can put an end to the needless suffering that countless animals are forced to endure.”
Hayley Mills
Hayley Mills began her acting career at the age of 12 when she was discovered by J. Lee Thompson to play the lead role in ‘Tiger Bay’. Hayley Mills starred in several Disney films, including ‘Pollyanna’, ‘The Parent Trap’, ‘In Search of the Castaways’, ‘Summer Magic’, ‘The Moon-Spinners’ and ‘That Damn Cat’.
As well as her Disney movies, Hayley Mills took the lead in several other films, notably ‘Whistle Down the Wind’, The ‘Truth About Spring’, and ‘The Chalk Garden’.
During the late 1960s she began performing in theatre and in more mature film roles. In 1981 she starred in the UK TV mini-series ‘The Flame Trees of Thika’ and later made several appearances on ‘The Love Boat’. In 2007, Hayley began appearing in the ITV Series ‘Wild At Heart’.
