Help us put an end to wildlife crime. Wild animals have as much right to be here as we do. Badgers, in particular, are some of our oldest, most well-loved neighbours, but they and the rest of our wildlife can't survive without your voice.

Working together
With the launch of our Make Wildlife Count campaign, you can help lobby the Government to make wildlife crimes notifiable.
urrently, wildlife crime is non-recordable. Examples of other non-recordable offences include speeding, low-level antisocial behaviour and dropping litter. It is simply unacceptable that the law offers our wildlife little or no protection.
To get involved and help our UK wildlife there are four simple things you can do.
1. Make Wildlife Count – contact your local MP
Politicians need to hear your voice to fully understand why wildlife matters. We need to change legislation and you can help make that happen by contacting your MP via our petition and asking for their support.
2. Report wildlife crime
Please continue to report wildlife crime to our investigators. Funded by generous supporters, our initial investigation packages for the police are invaluable for their research, warrant executions, and prosecutions.
In 2024, we saw several successful prosecutions as a result of the initial investigation packages we supplied to police forces across the country.
If you suspect individuals or groups are involved in the hunting of wildlife using dogs, such as badger baiting, hare coursing, deer hunting, etc., please don’t keep it to yourself; report it.
If you actually see a wildlife crime taking place, report it to the police on 999 or, if you’re reporting after the event, dial 101. In each case, make sure you get a police incident number.
If you suspect that wildlife crime is happening, our covert investigations team can help too. If you suspect individuals or groups are involved in the hunting of wildlife using dogs, such as badger baiting, hare coursing, deer hunting etc. Please fill in the ‘report wildlife crime’ form below.
We kindly ask that you complete the forms with as much detail as possible. You can rest assured knowing that all information you submit will be anonymous and stored safely.
3. Please donate to support our work
