Our ambassadors play a vital role in spreading awareness and promoting education. Together, we're creating a culture of respect and kindness, helping to make the world a better and fairer place for all animals!
Our World Animal Day Ambassadors are committed individuals who work within animal welfare. They also volunteer their time to raising the status of animals across the world as part of our global ambassador scheme.

Some of our successes so far
World Animal Day is celebrated in many countries across the world. Some of the ways in which our ambassadors have raised the status of animals include:
- Amina Abaza, who heads the Society for the Protection of Animal Rights in Egypt (SPARE), has used World Animal Day to successfully lobby for the addition of a clause about animal welfare in the new Egyptian Constitution.
- Both Animals Lebanon and AnimaNaturalis Colombia have achieved a Municipal Resolution that requires the Secretariats of the Environment and Civic Culture to commemorate World Animal Day each year, helping to raise awareness about the ethical treatment of animals.
- The Sudanese Animal Care and Environmental Organisation’s greatest achievement has been the introduction of animal protection legislation by the Sudanese parliament. Much of the work to achieve this magnificent goal is attributed to increased awareness of animal welfare issues brought about by World Animal Day.
- The Himalayan Animal Rescue Trust (HART) is delighted that World Animal Day is now being celebrated by government institutions in Nepal, such as the District Livestock Services Office.
