Naturewatch Foundation’s annual grant fund helps turn compassion into real action by backing trusted rescuers, frontline welfare organisations, grassroots campaigners, and pioneering researchers.
Together, these grants allow us to reach further, respond faster, and build a fairer world for every living creature. But we cannot do it without you.
Five grants, one £50,000 goal
We are aiming to raise £50,000 to cover all five grants. Every donation, whatever the size, brings us closer to giving animals the rescue, care, protection, and chance at a better life they deserve.
Each grant supports practical work where it is needed most, from urgent rescues and rehabilitation to long-term animal welfare change:
- Pet Rescue Grant (link to PRG page) (£11,000): Funding rescue and rehabilitation for dogs, cats, and rabbits affected by the illegal pet trade.
- Eastern Europe Grant link to EE page (£14,000): Delivering emergency aid, veterinary care, shelter, and long-term support for stray animals in Eastern Europe.
- World Animal Day Grant (link to WAD grant page)(£10,000): Supporting our long-standing ambassador scheme, helping people improve animal welfare in their own communities through grassroots projects around the world.
- Humane Research Grant (link to grant page)(£10,000): Funding modern, animal-free science, building on our 2026 grant to tackle leukaemia without using animals in experiments.
- UK Wildlife Grant (£5,000): New for 2027, we are launching a brand new grant to help protect wild animals from harm across the UK.
