Not so ‘purrfect’ pet ‘pawtraits’ by local charity raise money for Cheltenham Animal Shelter

Sarah Carr CEO of Naturewatch Foundation presenting cheque to Cheltenham Animal Shelter

Naturewatch Foundation team takes on Cheltenham Animal Shelter’s new ‘CAS Care Challenge!

Over the Summer, our office team took part in Cheltenham Animal Shelter’s first-ever ‘CAS Care Challenge’. Our friends at the shelter do fantastic work, taking care of an average of 70 residents every day, so we challenged the office team to support them by creating ‘Potluck Pet Portraits’. We have never claimed to be fantastic artists, so supporters had to risk ‘potluck’ as to who drew their furry friend.

Our CEO, Sarah Carr was delighted to be able to visit the shelter to present them with a cheque.

“It was so lovely to help our local animal shelter by supporting their summer fundraising challenge in such a creative way. We love animals at Naturewatch Foundation, so it was a real pleasure trying to capture the expressions of our supporters’ furry friends in drawing and painting their portraits! I was incredibly impressed by so many beautiful pictures and even some hidden artistic talent amongst the team! I can’t say any of us are Picasso, but we certainly put in our best heartfelt efforts!”

A huge thank you to all our generous donors who got involved and took the plunge in commissioning one of our pet portraits. We raised over £210 for the shelter.
